One week of life back in PNG!

It’s been a week of life in PNG. Still pinching ourselves that God brought us back!! The sweet NTMA team welcomed us with a meal schedule & groceries to get us going. Thanks guys, what a huge blessing!!

Taking care of unpacking, paperwork, meeting a lot of our NTM co workers & figuring all the in’s & out’s of life here. Fun but exhausting.

So thankful God has given a place to get nestled into as a family, get back to work, live & just do life!

Part of getting back to doing life, I’m going to be updating less frequently on FB. I’m telling you this so you aren’t alarmed when you see less stuff on FB. Prayers are still so welcomed & appreciated!! I’ll share some news & pix now & again.

Lastly, we just had to share:
12512466_10153504018832252_9057764388639246303_nWe had the privilege of meeting a young PNG man who struggled with complications with his leg, surgery, recovery & rehab. He was encouraged by Jon’s story & shared how it helped him to see that you can still keep going even with a hurt leg & helped point him & his family to the Lord. Praise God!! So humbled & in awe that God is still bringing people to Himself through the story He has given us to share.

Thank you all for your care for our family, you’ve blessed our lives immensely!!

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all. (I Chron 29:11)

Your experience and the way you relate it brings God much glory! You are quick to point us back toward Him—and that shows everyone who listens how great He is and how He loves.

My friends Todd and Karen Gerst will be through your neck of the woods soon. I pray you bump into them as they are heading to Gie to encourage the churches in that area. SO glad, Jon, that you are back to doing what God has laid on your heart and that you have such a wonderful story to tell.

    God bless you all!

    Mike
