Please Pray

What a crazy week, guys! Lots of goodbyes to some dear friends & family, packing & last minute errands.

Thank you to all who have written to us during this time to tell us you are praying & cheering us on. I wish I could write to you all individually. Just know what a blessing your messages have been!

How are we hanging in there? I’m numb, Jon’s giddy, the kids are counting down days, but we’re all excited. It’s a bittersweet time for us. Sad to leave our loved ones behind, but thrilled to go back to the field. It’s starting to hit us what we are about to do…pray for us guys in the last 2 days of preparation!

Also please, please be praying, there is the blizzard coming our way on Saturday night-Sunday that might delay our travels plans.
Pray for safe travels. Thanks!!

“Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.” Is 26:12

    No blizzards allowed! Praying. Lois

  2. Since the wind and waves obey Him, I’m sure the snow does, too. We’ll pray that the Lord who made it possible for you to reach The Point of Return (a miracle!) will also orchestrate your travel in His love and wisdom. Hugs to you all.

  3. I pray you will get to go back saftely. I pray for you goodbyes will be sweet and your time with friends AND family will be special.

    Well Jon, Adie & Boys.
Gwen & myself want to wish you all the best in your travels over the next few days, and the future that lies ahead of you. i am sure that you have mixed emotions, but also very excited because you are going home again to P.N.G.. We have the most loving heavenly father, who never leaves your side, we often say that he walks with me and talks with me and he does. We know that everything might not always work out the way you planned, but God will work these things through with you, there is a lovely verse that we think fits in with that.
    philippians. Ch 4 vs 4 – – 7.
Its funny how are lives have come to-gether, we fell in many ways that we are on the move, as we think of yourselves and all the things you have had to do.
we will be praying for you, that’s the most important, we would have liked to have helped in other ways, but that’s not possible, we do feel bad about that, but we can pray !!!.
    God Bless.
    Love & Prayers Geoff Gwen.

    Dear Jon and Adie,

I always get a blessing from your letters and especially enjoy the Bible verses you select.they are so appropriate to your present situation. I am thrilled that you are going back to PNG, but having been there myself I can understand all the mixed emotions of each of you.

I rejoice, with you, in the miracle God has done for Jon and admire your faithfulness and dedication both (and your sons) are a wonderful testimony for the Lord.

This is Arvalee Palmer, Peter’s mother (with NTM) and the author of God Plus Nothing. After the book was in print, ( Jan-February 2015) I sent you a copy because I thought it might be a blessing to you. You were still at the hospital in Cairns, so I sent it there. I surely hope you will be able to locate it some time.

    One of your admiring followers,

    Arvalee Palmer
