Final Preparations

A little over 2 weeks until we leave.
Honestly, just feeling ready to go, excited about what lies ahead & ready to just settle into life & work in PNG. After living so long in transition, for all you ladies out there, puttering around my own home sounds heavenly!

We’ve got a good chunk of stuff packed, doctor & dentist visits done & shopping about finished. Thank you Lord!!

As we check off our to-do list we are having fun visiting with friends, the kids are enjoying the snow & we’ve done some newspaper interviews.
The Cass County Reporter printed yesterday & the Fargo In-Forum will share our story on Jan 23rd.
What an incredible way to share ALL that God has done in our lives!!! We pray this story will encourage others that God is faithful & He answers prayer.

You guys have prayed for us so many times, thank you! Continue to pray for safe travels, our luggage to make it & Jon has to get a flight physical in Port Moresby very soon after arriving. Pray it goes well. It’s not every day Papua New Guinea has to process paperwork for a pilot amputee!!

“The eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.” Deut 33:27

So glad I could be on this journey with you in my prayers. God bless as you travel back.

FYI as you may already know, going through airport security will take longer.
Jon will be screened separately at each point due to his prosthesis. This always open the door to witness as we have found with Steve. Be prepared with gospel tracts and allow the extra time that your stops will take.
We are so excited to see your young family returning to PNG. Thank you for your life example in this dark world.
    We love you in Christ!

Thanks for sharing your journey with us. We are keeping you all in prayer as you face all these details and say good-by to your friends and family. We know God is watching over every step you take.

Hello Leedahls, Erica Haberchak and the 3 children are here in Mission Viejo CA. Erica’s knee surgery was not as bad as first thought and she will be on crutches for a month. Praise the Lord! Brent is in Spokane doing his Kodiak training. Erica is staying with her parents. We here at Grace Community Church are raising some funds to help out with the travel and expenses back to PNG. We are praying for a lady to help with the three children on the flight back to PNG. We know that the Good Lord will take care of all the details. We have been praying for the Leedahl family for over a year and know that you are on your way back to PNG. God is Great all the Time! Many Blessings for 2016 Helen Pettit Grace Community Missions Team Lake Forest CA http://www.gracesv.org
