On the Road Again

On the road this week. Thank you all for praying for safe travels!!

Started our week with a visit from some dear friends. Thanks Darian & Laura Kvistad Horejsi for making the trip to come see us!

We have over 4 weeks left on the road with many stops along the way. Continue to pray for safety and endurance.
The kids are loving this adventure & travel so well. We just have to make sure they have stops to run, play & get their wiggles out. It helps to have yummy snacks & books on tape & some favorite toys.

11 months after his accident, it’s been incredible to watch Jon working hard on building up his strength. He was pretty excited to climb the sand dunes in White Sands, NM. Remember when he would get so fatigued? He got in over 9,000 steps yesterday despite sitting in our van for hours. Thanking our great & powerful God for Jon’s determination & giving Jon the strength.

“God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places.” (II Sam 22:33, 34)

Although we have never met you face to face- we are thankful our relatives (Mike and Beth Matheson) serving in PNG shared your story and need for prayer. We have read each line and looked at your pictures as our hearts grew close to you two and your fine boys. We rejoice with you for the amazing healing and provision as you have continued your “walk” of faith and trust! So amazing to see this beautiful slide show of just where you are in so many ways!
    Our love and prayers continue,

You know our nephew Marcel Flint, but it is through the Haberchaks we know about you. We have followed your emails with love and prayers. Since my husband is a retired surgeon we know many patient amputees that he operated on. God has surely been watching over you.

So good to see you all at church today. God is all-powerful and never forsakes us. You are testament to that. I loved New Guinea when I was there. I had the bad kind of malaria and almost died. So after a year or two of”furlough”, I had to quit. Then I married Jerome. Jon, he is the one who talked to you that was born and raised in Fargo. We are happy you are friends of Mike and Abi, so you come to Safford. We’ll keep praying for you, and watch how God works everything out for your return to PNG

Praise the Lord for strength. It blesses me each memo to see how you are able to apply scripture to your life journey and experiences. I am praying for continued strenth and that God will meet all your needs and you will be encouraged by those you visit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. To him be the glory! The Kellers

I thank God for His faithfulness whenever I think of you all. Jon’s progress is a constant encouragement.

May God continue to bless and sustain you!

  6. Noooo! Is that you guys at Garden of the Gods? I live five minutes from there! I’m so sorry to have missed you in your travels.

I can’t tell you how often the Lord has brought you folks to mind to pray for you all. So thankful to see where you are now… Especially after getting a call from my dad letting me know about Jon’s accident last year. Who would have believed so much could happen in a year—and that so much good could come out of something so devastating…?
