Friends & Fun

We took a road trip to KS City to see our sweet & dear friends we went through missionary training together with this week.

We both served a short time overseas, came home on medical leave, living out of suitcases & on the road a lot. Yep, we both have crazy lives & when you have someone who understands the good, the bad & the ugly of all that that involves–it’s a beautiful thing!
What a FUN time we had together swapping stories about our adventures & adjustments where we are each serving overseas. Lots of memories made & laughs shared. So glad it worked to see you Jamin Peck & Elizabeth Peck & kids. We sure love you guys!!!!

Thanks for your faithful prayers guys, Monday we head to Rochester for a few days to get Jon’s X-3 & socket.
And Jon got his official FAA letter asking him to schedule his flight test. Jon’s hoping to get that lined up as soon as possible.

Some folks have asked if we will have a little break as a family.
Yes, as a matter of fact, some dear friends of ours have opened their lake cabin for us to have a get away. So excited & thankful the Lord knows what we need when we need it!!! 🙂

Pray for us as we will be on the road a lot for the next few months. Prayers for safety would be appreciated!! 🙂

Thanks for checking in with us!

(I threw in a few extra photos to try out the photo slideshow option..it’s kind of fun!)

    Dear Jon, Adie, and Boys,

So thankful to hear of your progress and that you’ll be getting your new leg very soon. Happy that you’ll have some down time soon too.

Everyone at church is rejoicing with you and continuing to pray for you.

In Christ, Marguerite and for Gary too

Dear Jon and Adie; I’ve been reading your letters since before you went out to the field. I got connected to you through Phil and Ellen Koop who are my cousins. I feel like I know you already, even though it has been through letters only. It’s just been amazing to me to hear about all the troubles in your lives, and how the Lord has delivered you out of them all, magnifying His glorious name through you. Another thing that amazes me how you always have an appropriate Scripture verse that gives you comfort and gives us courage to keep praying. I know it has not been easy for you, but you have courageously faced each situation, walking by faith and trusting our Almighty God. Thank you for not giving in to discouragement, but hanging on to God’s promises, trusting, resting and rejoicing in what the Lord is doing and will do. Blessings on you and your precious children. Love, Dorothy Brown Morden, MB Canada

So good to continue to hear from you. We continue to pray. We would love to see you and have you stay with us if you are in the Chicago area. I could arrange for you to share with some of the folks who have been praying for you.
    Love in Christ,
    Ruth and Greg
