As you know Jon took his flight physical last week. It was like a regular checkup, but it was only the beginning of many steps in the process to get recertified to fly by the FAA.
One step is the doctor needed Jon to take a neuro-psych test. After a traumatic accident with the amount of blood he lost, they just want to make sure he is physically/mentally fit to fly. Jon was scheduled to take it in September. Poor guy, that seemed too far away!
Well God answered our prayers to get it done sooner! smile emoticon The doctor was able to get him in yesterday to complete the test. Praise God! Jon spent the day working on a series of tests. He will get the results next week. If gets the okay, he then needs to take a flight test.
We’ll let you know the results when we hear them. Pray for favor for Jon!
In the mean time, Jon has been daily flying the helicopter, working on pedal work in the airplane, practicing stairs, learned how to get down on the floor & walking to build up his strength. (See video of Jon’s walking)
Happy 4th of July, friends near & far!!
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles…”1 Chron 16:8-12)
