The Leedahls Update – March 4, 2015

Jon L - 030415After seeing the plastic surgeon, we need an MRI to get a better look inside the stump. The doc said surgery is possible again to either sew up Jon’s new wound or worse case scenario, open up his stump and cut away any junk. We won’t know how to proceed until the results come in.

While we wait, we have one of the best distractions: fun with fun friends!!! So glad to have the Haberchaks here during this time. We love them so much! Lots of memory making with long talks, coffee dates, shopping, the kids playing great together, meals out & doing life together.

The waiting continues…pray with us friends!

“The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy.” (Proverbs 15:30 NKJV)

We continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers! Your faith in God’s handling of your futures and your present joy, following God’s direction to us as we live our Earthly lives, are great inspiration to all who follow your trials.

  4. Just wanted you all to know that I am 2 1/2 weeks post mastectomy. My doctor got it all!! Praises to our Lord!!! Wanted you all to know what a wonderful encouragement Jon’s journey was to me during this time. How many times I thought of him!!! How many prayers for him were said during the hospital stay and how he is such an encouragement to me. Also think of you, Addie and your courage through this walk. Will continue to pray.

Hi Jon & Adie, its great getting your emails, and hearing all your news and prayer up dates, just think how far Jon has come and how much healing has taken place. Its great having close friends around you that’s the most important. Gwen and myself are keeping ok, i am at hospital at the moment i am getting a check up on my arm. and shoulder, my shoulder inside hadn’t been healing properly after my trucking accident. Trust that the boys are keeping well, its surprising how children can settle down and adopt. We remember you in prayer every day, we have a great heavenly. father who loves us and cares for us, he will never leave or forsake us God bless for now. Love and prayers Geoff & Gwen
