The Leedahls Update – Feb. 25, 2015

Jon L - 022515This morning Jon had his appt. with the plastic surgeon. While probing the blister, the surgeon found that his new wound has a 5 cm. deep, skinny hole behind it. He’s doesn’t seem alarmed and asked the nurses to begin wound care: packing it with gauze after cleaning it daily.

Jon is scheduled to have an ultrasound of his stump tomorrow to get a better idea of what is happening inside.

To be continued…

Pray for the docs to able to see and treat any issues that are possibly inside. Once again God has Jon’s leg and we pray for healing.

Good news: Jon was approved by his physical therapist to take his crutches outside of the house and try stairs. So exciting!! We are thrilled the Haberchak family is here to see these milestones. Love these guys so much!!!

    Jon and Adie,

I continue to pray for you both and follow your updates with great interest. God Bless you and the boys.

We just finished a documentary on the Gerst’s and the Hall’s work in Gie for our church in Indiana. Unfortunately, Mike McGregor’s helo got a little more screen time than the Kodiak, but your airplane did make it into a shot or two at Mouk. We are so grateful for your help on that trip!

The doc is up on Vimeo and here is the link: https://vimeo.com/120245082

Love you guys! Be strong and courageous!

    Mike
