The Leedahls Update – Nov. 29, 2014

First off, I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and many wonderful posts! It’s just incredible to see!

The Lord has given me a sense of peace over losing my leg. It’s been a strong and powerful feeling of the Holy Spirit from the beginning. The Lord spared my life in miraculous ways. He has a big plan for me and I’m excited to find out what the plan is! In my research into modern prosthetics, there is no reason that I can’t become a pilot again. So, unless The Lord directs me otherwise, my goal is to go right back into missionary aviation! Of course, I have a long road of recovery and rehab to go!

Thanks again everyone for your many prayers! Believe me, they are doing wonders for my recovery!

“But they that wait upon The Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

John, we are so amazed at the grace God is giving you and Adie in all this! I am humbled as I watch you courageously face one tough day after the other. I pray for you daily as so many of us at NTMA do. I’m excited and encouraged to see how God will lead you in a path to fly again.

Watching you go through this makes me ashamed of myself as I think of how discouraged I have been since I flew the Super Cub into a mountain a few years ago.

I promise to keep praying for you in specific ways every day.

    In His Grace,

    Doug and Sharon Hefft
