Yesterday Jon was in a very serious motorcycle accident on his way home from the hanger. His right leg has a compound fracture and his left foot is also seriously damaged.
Here is an update from Jon’s mom Cam:
“Jonathan is still very critical, but he is stable enough to be flown to Cairnes, Australia. The mission clinic doctor said, “It is a testimony of prayers world-wide that his levels are doing this well.” Jonathan had lost nearly all of his own blood. He received transfusions from fellow missionaries, and will need more when he arrives in Australia.
Adie is accompanying Jonathan on this four-hour flight to Cairnes. The three boys are being cared for by friends at the missions base in Ukarumpa. Their flight just left a short while ago.
Thank you for continuing to lift up Jonathan in your prayers. Pray that Jon will remain stable during the flight, that the medical personnel receiving Jonathan will have wisdom in how to most appropriately address his injuries, and that Adie will be spiritually strong, and that the Lord will be glorified through it all.”
We will be posting regular updates of Jon’s status as they come available. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support as we trust our Healer to work in Jon’s life right now. There is still great concern over his condition, but we pray in faith with thousands of supporters around the world and our NTM family.
